PEL-AMPH 2C is one of the mildest amphoteric surfactants of its class and is suggested for personal care applications where low irritation is a must. In personal care formulations such as baby shampoos, bubble baths, and body cleansers, PEL-AMPH 2C provides a moderate lather and cleans without defatting the skin to give a rich, conditioning effect. PEL-AMPH 2C is stable over a wide pH range which makes it ideal for formulating AHA cleansers, etc. It is useful for the formulation of products used around food preparation areas, hospital hand cleansers. PEL-AMPH 2C is frequently used as the only surfactant in products such as premoistened wipes.
