PEL-AMPH OSF is an amphoteric surfactant with applications in personal care and industrial cleaners. It has excellent lubricating properties in addition to modest detergency. Its solubility in non-polar solvents makes it useful as a detergent for anhydrous, solvent based cleaners. Unlike many other amphoteric surfactants, PEL-AMPH OSF contains no sodium chloride by-product. It is suggested for systems where chloride would be detrimental to performance or would cause corrosion problems. PEL-AMPH OSF is stable over a broad pH range and is a good choice for water-free cleaning formulations.
