PEL-AMPH TM is a higher molecular weight betaine which exhibits both cationic and anionic properties. It is compatible with anionic surfactants and levels as low as 1 to 2% PEL-AMPH TM provides conditioning properties and excellent viscosity building. PEL-AMPH TM is also stable in both highly acid and alkaline systems. In acidic products, it provides good viscosity enhancement. In alkaline cleaners it may be coupled with a hydrotrope to provide good cleaning properties.
