PEL-SIL 1212, 9872 & 9122 silicone glycol additives improve the performance of brown stock pulp defoamers used in the Kraft pulping process. They may be used in compliance with 21CFR176.210 to manufacture paper and paperboard for indirect food contact. They enhance the dispersion of formulated defoamers and they also defoam at temperatures above their cloud points. In addition, they increase water drainage from pulp mats by reducing entrained air. They are compatible with organic defoamers and all three products are 100% active. These PEL-SIL products are uncapped polyether modified polydimethylsiloxanes.
